​​Committees at The Temple – (as listed in the By-Laws of The Temple)

 

Budget Committee: This committee supervises the financial affairs of the congregation.

Auxilary committees include: Budget, Development, Finance, Financial Commitment, Fundraising, Insurance

Membership Committee: Encouraging new membership and making recommendations on applications for membership in the congregation.

Auxilary committees include: Roster Committee

​

Worship and Ritual Committee: This committee works with the Rabbis to schedule all special services and special events of religious significance, and coordinate music for services as needed.

Auxilary committees include: Choir (Shir Chadash)

​

Social Action Committee (TOV: Tikkun Olam Volunteers): This committee shall promulgate programs for the congregation that will reflect the philosophies of Reform Judaism, working together with the rabbis to facilitate the congregation’s active participation in the sacred task of Tikkun Olam.

Auxilary committees include: Blankets & Blessings, Caring Committee, Tikkun Olam Volunteers (TOV) ​

Building and Grounds (House) Committee: This committee keeps the building and property of the congregation, exclusive of the cemetery, in good order and repair.

Auxilary committees include: Art & Decoration, High Holy Days Task Force​

Cemetery Committee: This committee directs the operation of The Temple Cemetery and the rules and regulations governing the Cemetery.

​

Endowment Fund: The administrators of this committee use the income and principal thereof to support and further the objectives of the congregation – including its facilities and promote religious, educational, social and recreational programs.

Personnel Committee: This committee oversees the policies, procedures, employment recommendations, and performance reviews of The Temple staff.
